Through official blog AKB48 announced their annual event Senbatsu Sousenkyo will not be held this year. Instead, they will hold AKB48 Group no Haru Festival on April 27, 2019.
The spring festival will consist:
- Senbatsu members from each group
- Popular Unit
- First solo concert for some members, etc
At the same day there will be JKT48 Request Hour 2019 and MNL48 2nd General Election to be hold on April 27.
