The Japan prestigious annual event, NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen is back soon.
But unfortunately in the list is not written the name "AKB48", or even other 48 Groups.
This made several members disappointed, including the General Manager of AKB48, Mukaichi Mion.
In a tweet on her personal Twitter, Mion apologized and regretted for not being able to bring AKB48 to the event for 2nd consecutive year.
Previously, AKB48 Group had been very often for 11 consecutive years, but in the last 2 years they were never performed again.
"I can't participate in this year's Kouhaku Uta Gassen anymore. A year ago, I had been working while remembering Yukirin's words, 'Let's do our best next year as far as we can say that we are really disappointed.' So let me tell you guys. Really regretful! !! !! !! With AKB48 at the moment, haven't been able to get to that stage yet. I will do my best next year with big goals in my heart".
Mion also hopes that next year AKB48 can perform at NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen again.
