Sad news for J-Pop fans: the group B.O.L.T. officially Ro disband on April 15, 2023.
The decision came after Chiho Takai, one of the prominent members, expressed her desire to focus on her solo career.
After a heart-to-heart discussion with the rest of the group, the members collectively agreed to part ways.
Formed in 2019 as a successor to the group Rock A Japonica, B.O.L.T. had quite a unique energy that captured the hearts of many fans.
They were part of the Stardust Promotion talent agency and, even after disbanding, all the members will remain with Stardust.
This means fans might still see them in the entertainment world, albeit in different forms.
Chiho Takai's solo ambitions were the catalyst for the group’s disbandment, but it seems to be a decision made with mutual respect.
The members have grown individually over the years, and this next chapter for each of them is expected to be exciting.
Whether it’s Chiho’s solo career or other members taking on new projects, fans have a lot to look forward to.
For fans of B.O.L.T., this marks the end of an era, but the spirit of the group will live on.
While it's tough to say goodbye to the group, the future still holds potential for each member to shine on their own.
B.O.L.T. might be over, but their legacy continues, and who knows? We might see collaborations or reunions down the line, so there’s always a silver lining for J-Pop enthusiasts!
