JKT48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo |
The JKT48 general election event, often referred to as JKT48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo (SSK), is a highly anticipated moment for fans. In this event, supporters make every effort to help their idols achieve their dreams of performing in the group's latest single.
Similarly, JKT48, after a five-year hiatus, will hold its seventh Senbatsu Sousenkyo in December 2024. During this event, 51 members of JKT48 will compete for 24 coveted spots, securing their place to perform the 26th single.
Unlike previous years, where 32 positions were available, JKT48 has reduced the number to just 24. As a result, fanbases are uniting in an effort to propel their idols to secure one of these prestigious spots.
Titled "Pemilihan Member Single Ke-26 JKT48 ~Saatnya Kesempatan~", this event promises significant changes after five years without an election.
From the last election in 2019, only three members remain: Shania Gracia (#10), Angelina Christy (#13), and Helisma Putri (#15).
This year’s election features the theme song ‘Chance no Junban’ for JKT48’s 26th single. Here's the timeline for the *Senbatsu Sousenkyo*:
- September 1: First day of voting
- September 28: First preliminary results at JKT48 Personal Meet & Greet Festival “Road to Sousenkyo 2024”
- TBA: Second preliminary results
- November 30: Last day of distributing voting codes
- December 9: Last day of voting
- December 15: JKT48 26th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo Result
This upcoming event marks a pivotal moment for JKT48 and its fans.
Since the last general election in 2019, the group has undergone several changes, with new members joining and some seasoned ones still holding on to their positions.
The shift from 32 to 24 spots has added an extra level of competitiveness, pushing both the members and their supporters to new heights.
The excitement surrounding the return of JKT48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo after such a long break is palpable, with fans gearing up to cast their votes and rally behind their favourite idols.
With the group’s dynamic constantly evolving, this event could very well redefine the future of JKT48.
