SNH48 Unveils Exciting New EP: Best Friend

SNH48 has officially announced their latest EP single, "Best Friend," following the results of their 11th General Election held in August.

This exciting release features three tracks, with the title song “Zui Hao de Pengyao,” also known as “Best Friend,” leading the way.

The EP will include two additional songs: the coupling tracks “Hua Hu Die (Fly to The Moon)” and “Ying Huo (Firefly).”

“Best Friend” is set to drop digitally on 18 October 2024 across various Chinese music platforms.

The main track will be performed by the Senbatsu members, who comprise the top 16 contestants from the recent election.

The talented lineup features Yuan Yiqi, Wang Yi, Zhou Shiyu, and several others, showcasing the group's dynamic vocal range.

The coupling song “Fly to The Moon” will be performed by the top 32 members, including Fei Qinyuan and Jiang Shuting, while “Ying Huo” will feature members ranked in the top 48, such as Shen Xiao’ai and Ye Shuqi.

In a delightful twist, the music video for “Best Friend” was filmed in Japan, while “Fly to The Moon” was shot in Malaysia and “Ying Huo” in China.

This EP not only highlights the members' versatility but also serves as a lead-up to the upcoming “SNH48 11th Request Time” event, which promises to be an exciting showcase of the group's talent and fan engagement. With such a stellar release on the horizon, fans can’t wait to hear what SNH48 has in store!
