SKE48’s Management Holds First Fan Meeting in Theatre

On November 1, the management of Zest and their parent company Keyholder, which owns the popular idol group SKE48, held a special discussion with fans at the SKE48 Theatre.

This meeting was arranged to discuss plans for the group’s future, in what management hopes to be the first of many ongoing conversations.

A highlight of the event was a presentation by Zest employee and former SKE48 member, Saki Takeuchi, 24, who discussed the group’s expanding YouTube strategy.

Takeuchi explained that SKE48 aims to produce a variety of content to appeal to both dedicated fans and those outside the typical idol fandom.

She emphasised that using YouTube will allow SKE48 to reach new audiences and promote the group’s visibility with TV stations.

Zest and Keyholder management expressed a desire to maintain this open dialogue, giving fans a say in the direction of the group while fostering creative ideas.

Many fans welcomed this approach, noting that it’s a unique step forward in enhancing the connection between SKE48 and its supporters.
