The 24-year-old idol and entertainer retired from the entertainment industry in March 2024 to pursue her dream of working as an animal groomer.

To Everyone Who Has Always Supported Me,
I have an announcement to make.
In March next year, I will leave J.P. Room and conclude my entertainment career.
I apologise for the sudden announcement.
From now on, I will use what I learned at an animal specialist school to pursue my new dream of becoming an animal groomer.
Over the past 10 years, I have dedicated all my youth to being an idol and entertainer as Asakura Kiki. It has been a truly fulfilling, irreplaceable time that I am proud of.
Thanks to my companions and the environment that allowed me to grow, I have gained many valuable experiences. I am deeply grateful for these opportunities.
Most importantly, I am who I am today because of all of you who supported me through everything.
Over the past two years, I have come to realise just how special and precious your support is. To be cheered on by others is not something to take for granted, and I feel deeply thankful for it.
The time I spent with all of you will remain a lifelong treasure and a source of strength. I will cherish it forever.

Even now, I still love singing, dancing, expressing myself, and standing on stage. It is true that this was a difficult decision. However, the experiences I gained here have given me the courage to consider new paths and take on new challenges.
Moving forward, as an animal groomer, I aim to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to caring for animals and supporting their owners.
This will be a fresh start for me, but I am determined to see it through.
