Chiang Mai’s pride, CGM48, is welcoming new talent! The group has officially opened auditions for its fourth generation of members.
This exciting opportunity is available to girls born between 2003 and 2013, aligning with the Thai calendar year 2556.
Notably, the auditions are also open to girls outside Thailand, making it an international event.
Applications are being accepted from 1st to 31st January 2025.
Aspiring idols will have the chance to become part of CGM48, a sister group of AKB48, known for its distinct cultural representation and focus on Northern Thai traditions.
CGM48, based in Chiang Mai, was launched in 2019 as Thailand’s second AKB48 sister group after BNK48.
The group aims to showcase local heritage while delivering the unique idol experience AKB48 is renowned for.
It has gained popularity for blending traditional charm with modern music.
