18th Asian Film Awards 2025 Nominees Unveiled (All Nominees)

The nominees for the 18th Asian Film Awards have been officially announced, showcasing an impressive lineup of talent and creativity from across Asia. Chinese films Black Dog and Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In headline the Best Film category.

Renowned director Guan Hu is nominated for Best Director for Black Dog, joining other celebrated filmmakers like Payal Kapadia (All We Imagine as Light) and Yoshida Daihachi (Teki Cometh).

The Best Actor category features Eddie Peng, Sean Lau, and Michael Hui, while Sylvia Chang stands out in the Best Actress category for her performance in Daughter’s Daughter.

Rising talents also shine, with Dong Zijian earning a nomination for Best New Director for My Friend Andre.

Legendary Hong Kong actor Sammo Hung will chair the jury for this year’s awards, which will culminate in a grand ceremony on 16 March.
