Li Wei Denies Violence Allegations Against Zhao Lusi

Zhao Lusi has become a trending topic after reports surfaced about her being hospitalised.

A close friend revealed that the actress experienced physical abuse from her agency after failing a casting audition.

Zhao Lusi confirmed the incident via social media, sparking outrage among fans and the public.

Many speculated that the perpetrator was Li Wei, former CEO of her agency, Yinhe Kuyu Media.

However, Li Wei denied the claims, sharing posts highlighting his positive relationship with Zhao Lusi.

In addition, Xu Yiruo, Zhao Lusi's ex-manager, also faced accusations.

On 2 January, Xu's lawyer, Yang Shuguang, issued a statement refuting all allegations, describing them as baseless.

The statement denied claims that Xu assaulted Zhao Lusi or demanded a ransom for contract termination.

The lawyer emphasised plans to pursue legal action against false accusations to safeguard Xu's reputation.

As the controversy unfolds, netizens remain divided, with some supporting Zhao and others awaiting further evidence. The case highlights ongoing issues within the entertainment industry, raising concerns about artist treatment.
