Chinese actress Liao Huijia stirred public debate with her candid critique of actor Li Mingde's unprofessional behaviour during the filming of Who’s Your Daddy?.
Through a social media post, Liao expressed her dissatisfaction, stating, “Calling others a diva? Look at yourself first. I’ve worked with many actors over the years, and in terms of work ethic, you’re the worst.”
She went on to critique Li's performance, claiming it was subpar compared to his co-star in the male lead roles. Liao also denied any personal grudge, explaining her comments were purely professional.
Addressing Li directly, she wrote, “You say everyone lies. Let me tell the truth, Mr Li. Stop acting crazy—the internet doesn’t belong to you.”
The drama escalated after Li Mingde was recently dropped from The Triple Echo of Time. He accused the production team and co-star Ma Tianyu of misconduct, alleging Ma neglected to read scripts.
The production team refuted his claims, accusing Li of skipping script readings, leaving the set unannounced, and damaging hotel property.
With both parties threatening legal action, the controversy continues to captivate the public, shedding light on workplace ethics in the entertainment industry.
