Big changes are coming to HKT48’s home base! From 1st March, the HKT48 Theater in Fukuoka will officially be called 17LIVE HKT48 Theater.
Why the sudden change?
It’s all thanks to a naming rights deal between 17LIVE, the live-streaming app, and the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, along with the entertainment complex BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA.
If you didn’t know, this is the very building next to PayPay Dome where the HKT48 Theater is located.
For fans, this venue is sacred ground.
The group has been performing here since November 2020, making it their second permanent home.
While the name might be different, the idol magic stays the same!
