Lingling’s Journey: From BNK48 Candidate to CGM48 Star
It’s been a wild ride for Lingling, the 22-year-old idol who stood on stage on 8 February 2025, sharing her inspiring story of resilience.
Lingling revealed how she first joined CGM48, overcoming a major setback when she failed to make it as a 5th-generation member of BNK48 in early 2024.
Despite the disappointment, she didn’t give up.
Her last shot at being an idol came later that year when she auditioned for CGM48’s 3rd generation.
With the age limit capping at 22 for applicants born in 2002, the clock was ticking for her dream.
Thankfully, Lingling passed the auditions and was announced as a trainee in July 2024.

Fast forward to now, she’s already landed a spot in the Senbatsu lineup, a feat she’s deeply grateful for.
Her story touched fans as she expressed how CGM48 has changed her life, giving her a platform to shine after a rocky start. It’s clear that her hard work and determination paid off.
Lingling, whose full name is Salinthip Panaapichon (หลิงหลิง), continues to inspire many, proving that persistence and belief in oneself can make dreams come true.
Hailing from Chonburi, Thailand, she’s not just an idol but also a law student at Thammasat University. Talk about brains and talent!
