Thai superstar Gulf Kanawut and talented Japanese actress Miori Takimoto will lead TV Tokyo's new drama Tokyo Holiday, starting 3rd April (Thursdays, 12:30 am).
This fresh love story follows Athit, a Thai national actor who’s drowning in work and losing sight of happiness.
Seeking a breather, he escapes to Tokyo, where he meets Sakurako, a sweet shop owner who’s also struggling with her own dreams and responsibilities.
Athit, played by Gulf in his Japanese drama debut, is a beloved star nicknamed the "Prince of Smiles."
However, beneath his success lies exhaustion and doubts about life.
A spontaneous stroll through Tokyo’s streets gives him a rare moment of freedom, and fate leads him to Sakurako’s traditional sweet shop.
