Devil ANTHEM. Returns with a Bang at Spotify O-WEST!

Devil ANTHEM. is back! After a three-month hiatus, the idol group made a triumphant return on 23 March 2025, rocking a packed house at Spotify O-WEST.

Fans had been eagerly awaiting this moment since the group paused activities following their 10th Anniversary concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall on 27 December.

During the break, Airi Takemoto bid farewell to the group, making way for two fresh faces—19-year-olds Meisa Shiozaki and Nene Yabuki.

Their comeback was teased with two new digital releases: REBUILD on 26 February and DCB on 12 March.

The excitement culminated in their first live show under the new lineup, Rebuilders vol.1, marking a new chapter for Devil ANTHEM.

As the opening SE blared, the packed venue erupted. The members, donning laser-equipped gloves, lined up for their first song—one of their classic anthems.

From the start, their energy was undeniable.

Minnadeiko followed, delivering an emotional punch, while fans chanted their hearts out, making up for months of anticipation.

Despite being newcomers, Shiozaki and Yabuki took to the stage with remarkable confidence, shining in performances of the early tracks Onnanoko Keisatsu and Kokoro Kara

The group didn’t hold back, performing five songs back-to-back before breaking for an MC segment. "Devil ANTHEM. is back!" declared Kurumi Takekoshi, greeted by roaring cheers.

When they performed DCB, a city pop tune produced by Sho Yamamoto, the disco ball shimmered as the lyrics playfully teased, "The cute devils are coming back!"

The energy only built from there, with tracks like Midnight Drive and Blue Youth elevating the atmosphere.

Takekoshi reflected on their return, admitting, “We felt a bit left behind in the idol scene.

We believed in our fans, but there was still that tiny worry—‘Will they come back for us?’

But standing here, seeing your bright smiles, it reminds me how special Devil ANTHEM. truly is. Thank you for being here!”

The night raced towards its climax with REBUILD, embodying their new era.

The crowd reached peak hype with EMOTIONAL, Fever, and FACT, keeping the energy soaring.

Over 15 songs filled the setlist, proving that Devil ANTHEM. had returned stronger than ever.

Shiozaki, brimming with excitement, exclaimed, “That was absolutely amazing!” while Yabuki, still buzzing with adrenaline, added, “I was nervous, but I had so much fun!”

Before the curtains closed, the group made two big announcements: a mini-album dropping on 28 May and their first one-man live at LIQUIDROOM on 24 June.

From their electrifying performance to the promise of fresh music, Devil ANTHEM. is officially back in action—rebuilt, recharged, and ready to take on the idol scene once again!
