Fuji TV Delayed Probe Into Nakai’s Alleged Misconduct
Fuji TV’s third-party committee has officially recognised that former SMAP leader Masahiro Nakai was involved in a sexual violence case.
The investigation report, released on the 31st, confirms that a woman was subjected to sexual violence by Nakai Masahiro "in the course of work."
Despite knowing about the issue for over a year and a half, Fuji TV failed to conduct a formal investigation.

Reports indicate Nakai had informed the network himself, yet they continued featuring him in regular and special programs.
This has raised concerns over whether Fuji TV deliberately concealed the case.
At 5 PM, committee members Takeuchi Akira, Gomi Yuko, and Yamaguchi Toshiaki held a press conference, explaining their findings.
The committee, established in January under the Japan Federation of Bar Associations' guidelines, aims to release a full report by March, including recommendations for preventing similar incidents.
Fuji Media Holdings and Fuji TV are scheduled to address the controversy in a press conference at 7 PM.
The broadcaster now faces backlash over its inaction and alleged cover-up of the scandal.
