Chinese actor Han Geng and his wife, actress Celina Jade (Lu Jingshan), have shut down viral rumours claiming they split expenses based on their income proportions.
The couple’s studio released a firm statement on 31 March, calling the claims “completely false and maliciously fabricated.”
The gossip suggested that when they purchased a property in Sanya last year, Celina allegedly covered 60% of the cost while Han contributed 40%.
Their studio, however, dismissed this as baseless, stressing that such falsehoods harm their reputations.
They also warned those spreading misinformation to cease immediately.
