Josei Seven has just dropped a bombshell—Hirose Suzu (26) and Yamazaki Kento (30) have reportedly called it quits!
The star-studded couple, who were first linked in July 2022, are said to have broken up earlier this year.
According to sources, the two had been in a semi-cohabiting relationship at Suzu’s place.
However, by autumn 2024, things started to shift. With Kento away for long filming schedules, Suzu took a step back to reassess her future.
After confiding in those around her, she decided to end the relationship.
Fans had been speculating for a while, especially after the couple were spotted wearing matching gold rings last year.
However, by the end of 2024, Suzu was seen sporting a different ring—one from Louis Vuitton, the brand she represents.
That was the first sign that their love story might have come to an end.
Adding fuel to the rumours, Suzu has been engaging more with her male co-stars.
She reposted content from Kenichi Matsuyama, who stars alongside her in Kujaku no Dance, Dare ga Mita?, and shared pictures of Masaki Okada from their film Yukite Kaeranu.
She even posted a "date-like" snap with Shuhei Nomura, her co-star from Chihayafuru.
In a recent interview, Suzu hinted at her new mindset.
Speaking about her role in Yukite Kaeranu, where she plays Taisho-era actress Yasuko Hasegawa, she admired the character’s free-spirited nature.
When asked about her 2025 goals, she said she wanted to "enjoy work and life freely."
Could this be her way of declaring a fresh start?
For now, neither Suzu nor Kento have commented, but it seems like this A-list romance is officially over.
