Resident Playbook: The Chaos of Doctor Life Begins!

Get ready, Hospital Playlist fans! The much-anticipated spin-off Resident Playbook is finally making its way to our screens on 12 April 2025. 

This time, the spotlight is on first-year OB/GYN residents navigating the unpredictable, sleep-deprived world of hospital life.

Expect the usual madness—half-eaten meals, emergency calls, and the dreaded scoldings from senior doctors. 

The drama aims to capture the brutal yet heartwarming journey of medical trainees as they struggle, learn, and survive.

Leading the show is Moving star Go Youn-jung as Oh Yi-young, a hospital newbie trying to find her footing. 

Alongside her are Shin Si-a as the stylish yet hardworking Pyo Nam-kyung, Kang You-seok as the former idol turned doctor Um Jae-il, and Han Ye-ji as the ever-studious Kim Sa-bi. 

Guiding—or maybe torturing—them is Jung Joon-won as the strict yet caring senior resident Goo Do-won.

The recently released poster shows these frazzled first-years with messy hair and exhausted faces, barely holding on. 

But despite the madness, one thing is for sure—this is going to be an emotional ride filled with laughter, tears, and endless cups of coffee.
