It all started with a tweet from @ahsanataS_100: "Must be nice being a government official's kid, bribing your way through, driving members around. If the kid's already corrupt, imagine the parents." This got everyone wondering—who’s he talking about?
Skipping the Rules for Special Treatment?
For years, JKT48 fans have had to follow strict rules just to meet the members. Whether it’s handshakes, two-shots, or theatre shows, everything requires tickets and proper procedures. Sometimes, even getting a ticket is nearly impossible!
But this case is different. Some fans allegedly get to sit front row without hassle and freely take photos with members. While regular fans struggle, why do certain people get to do whatever they want?
Long-time fan Fat Tony didn’t hold back: "This is nothing new... There are people who get to take pictures with members just because of their parents' positions. And when the photos leak, they hide behind ‘Oh, but he’s a government official’s kid...’"
Is JOT Just Letting This Slide?
JKT48’s management, JOT (JKT48 Operation Team), is also getting dragged into this mess. Fans accuse them of being tough on regular fans but going easy on privileged ones.

Things escalated when @inf1nity3nd shared leaked messages from a female Wota (aka Woti), named Sekar (@seecar_ / @24pr7), who allegedly controlled members and always won verification for front-row seats.
This fan also said (to the now ex-member), "Never ask about how I got to sit in the front row. Never talk about how I won the verification (got the ticket)."
One message that enraged the fandom: "As long as you’re performing, I’ll be there. That’s all you need to know."

Fans were furious, saying this wasn’t just about privilege anymore—it was about controlling an idol. JKT48 is meant to be an idol group for everyone, but suddenly, someone’s acting like a VIP manager?
JOT has reportedly blacklisted Sekar from JKT48 events, but fans aren’t convinced. They fear similar cases will keep happening behind the scenes.

The most disturbing part? This Woti allegedly prepared a surprise birthday celebration for Nachia JKT48—in a HOTEL ROOM! They expected her to show up, and when she didn’t, they trashed her on Twitter.
Imagine a minor being pressured to meet strangers in a hotel room. Of course, Nachia declined—for her safety! Fans are outraged, saying this crosses the line from privilege to something much darker.
Nachia is reportedly feeling pressured, confused, and scared by Sekar's statement, which seems threatening and aimed at damaging Nachia's reputation in the fandom, like she did to some ex members by exposing their scandal. POWER ABUSE.
Seekar did this in a hotel, assisted by her friends (a few men) who have now been exposed by JKT48 fans.
A fan stated that this is no longer just an ordinary commotion but a criminal case that has been exposed, involving legal violations in Indonesia under Article 330(1) of the Criminal Code and Article 76E of the Child Protection Law.
Leaked message from Sekar to JKT48 Nina (Nachia) on her birthday, in October 2024. Sekar asked Nina to come into the hotel she booked, take the gift, and take a photo of the sky once done. Sekar also assured Nina that everything was safe. She provided the hotel room details—Room 803 on the 8th floor of Somerset Sudirman Hotel, Jakarta—which she booked under the name NINA.

A staff member was very angry and furious about this issue, causing other fans to bear the consequences, even though it was the actions of just one person. and the management of Nachia fanbase had to clarify the matter with JKT48's management. Good thing is that, Nachia immediately returned the iPad to JKT48's management.

Who is Sekar?
It turns out that this woman has been deeply involved in the JKT48 fandom since 2014. She has joined numerous fanbases for specific members, taking roles such as Fanbase Leader, Advisor, or Part of Creative Team.
Sekar and her circle of friends (male & female friends) have stirred up the fandom multiple times. Prior to this, there was also a scandal involving gifts for JKT48 members, where she smuggled electronic items, causing JKT48 staff to get angry at all fans and tighten the rules.
Her actions have seriously harmed other fans. Even Nachia's fanbase leader had to clarify the situation with JKT48 management as they were also affected by the incident.
Fans suspect that this is not the first time such a case has occurred. Sekar's actions in pressuring Nachia are seen as a legal violation. Allegations that several current and former members were previously caught in scandals due to Sekar's actions have also begun to surface. At the very least, the entire fandom is now aware of those who have been acting superior and trying to control both JKT48 members and the fanbase. Sekar has been involved with JKT48 for a long time, maintaining personal contacts with both current and former members. She reportedly offers support to targeted members and ensures their reputation within the fandom.
If Sekar is indeed the child of a government official, then neither she nor her parents will be able to stay at ease. Looking at past cases, many children of state officials have acted out, triggering a domino effect that exposed their parents' corruption scandal. This is not a threat; it is a ticking time bomb for her. But if it is not true and merely a one-sided claim, perhaps her obsession needs to be stopped.
For all the JKT48 fanbases out there, according to one fanbase leader, this person is politically strong. She probably joined as a regular member, slowly pushed to climb up, became a staff member, then aimed to be the leader, trying to control or take over fanbase decisions.
She also managed to get a lot of access to JKT48 members’ private contacts. Financially, they’re solid too, so don’t get carried away and end up betraying your oshimen. Moving forward, be careful about letting this person into your fanbase, whether as a member, staff or leadership team.
This case has uncovered new issues that could change the future of the JKT48 fandom. Fans are also urging management to be stricter in blacklisting individuals by publicly displaying their photos, names, and violations on a "Wall of Shame."
