Wu Jinyan might be back on set sooner than expected!
The Chinese actress, best known for Story of Yanxi Palace, is reportedly gearing up to start filming this April after rumours of her giving birth to her first child with actor Hong Yao.
Producer Yu Zheng recently spilled the news when asked about Wu’s comeback.
"Soon. There are more than 10 scripts in line, and we will produce the ones we have signed first," he told Yahoo News.
Fans immediately speculated that Wu’s long-awaited return is finally happening.
Adding fuel to the fire, Wu's first post-childbirth photo has gone viral.
The actress is said to be taking on a role in Hua Qing Chuan, a new historical drama, and is expected to start filming next month.
However, there’s still no official statement from her or her agency.
Wu Jinyan surprised fans last September when she announced her marriage to Hong Yao, her Yanxi Palace co-star.
Soon after, she was spotted with what many suspected to be a baby bump, though she never addressed the pregnancy rumours.
Last month, a source claimed that the actress had safely delivered a daughter.
While Wu has stayed silent on the topic, her possible return to the screen has fans buzzing with excitement.
