| AiScReam’s Debut Single Dominates Charts (Press Release) |
You scream, I scream, we all scream for… AiScReam?
The idol world’s latest viral obsession is here – and it’s pink, punchy, and powered by the Love Live! universe.
AiScReam, a new all-star unit made up of members from across the Love Live! franchise, has blown up online thanks to their debut single “Ai♡Scream!” – and it’s showing no signs of melting anytime soon.
Released on 22 January 2025, the song was first performed live at the Yokohama leg of the “LoveLive! Series Asia Tour 2024 'Minna de Kanaeru Monogatari'” in February, where it immediately hit with fans.
But the real magic happened in early March, when a clip of that performance dropped on TikTok.
What followed? Viral mayhem.
That one catchy line – “○○-chaaan! Hai! Nani ga suki? (What’s your favourite?)” – launched a wave of lip-syncs and dance videos, from everyday fans to celebs, influencers, and even K-pop idols.
It became a full-blown TikTok trend faster than you can say “idol unity.”
And now?
The official Love Live! TikTok account has racked up over 80 million views on related videos, and more than half a million user posts are using the track.

That's some serious idol power.
The hype hasn’t stayed online, either.
“Ai♡Scream!” shot to No. 1 on Spotify’s Viral Top 50 – Japan for an impressive 19 straight days and also topped viral charts in six other countries.
Over on YouTube Shorts, the song’s ranked in the Top 50 daily songs in 11 different regions – from Asia to Europe and beyond.
The tune’s also been picked up by major playlists like Spotify’s Women of Anime, Viral Hit Korea, and YouTube Music’s The Short List – so yeah, you’ll probably hear it whether you’re looking for it or not.
And if all that wasn’t enough, AiScReam’s got big plans: the group will hold their own live show, “AiScReam presents TOPPING LIVE とけちゃう前に会いに来て♡♡♡,” at Pacifico Yokohama on 6–7 September 2025.
That name’s a mouthful, but we’re sure fans will be lining up for a taste.
So, is AiScReam just a one-off unit, or are we seeing the birth of Love Live!’s next big phenomenon? Hard to say – but if this is just the beginning, we’re in for a sweet ride.
