Big news from Thailand’s idol scene—Cherprang Areekul just took a bold leap forward in her career! Through her personal Instagram, she officially announced the launch of her very own independent agency, CC248 Company Limited. That’s right—she’s now her own boss.
With this move, her contract as an artist under Independent Artist Management (iAM), the agency behind BNK48, has officially come to an end. It’s a new chapter, and Cherprang’s ready to take it on with full creative control.
In a statement shared by CC248, it’s been made clear that Cherprang is now moving forward as an independent actress and artist. Everything related to her future work—whether it’s acting gigs or musical projects—will now be managed solely by CC248 Company Limited.
That said, she’s not cutting ties completely. The agency also mentioned that any previous projects already lined up under iAM will still go ahead as planned. Both parties are committed to working together smoothly until everything’s wrapped up properly.
As for her beloved role in BNK48, fans can breathe a little easier. Despite the agency shift, Cherprang will continue serving as the General Manager (Shihainin) of BNK48’s theatre operations—at least until there’s any further announcement.
Here’s the full statement from CC248.

CC248 Company Limited
1 April 2025"
Cherprang’s been with BNK48 since the very beginning. She was part of Team BIII, served as the group’s captain (Soukantoku), and eventually became the General Manager. Her leadership has been a massive part of BNK48’s identity.
Last year was huge—she announced her graduation in April and had her grand graduation concert in October. But instead of disappearing, she’s stayed deeply involved, even producing BNK48’s latest trainee stage Ganbare! Kenkyuusei, which kicked off on March 24th.
Now, with her own agency, Cherprang’s stepping into a more personal, powerful era. It’s a move that shows just how much she’s grown—not just as an idol, but as a creative force of her own.
