Chuang Asia Season 2 just wrapped up its finale in Thailand, and we've got ourselves a new boy group to obsess over—NexT1DE.
The show kicked off on 2nd February 2025 and quietly kept the momentum going on WeTV, despite not being as explosive as previous seasons.
Still, fans showed up and made noise for their favourites.
Let’s talk about that final line-up—seven members made it through the survival storm: DORN, THI-O, Hu Yetao, Shen Yisheng, OMAR, Lin Jinxiong (or Xiong), and Yao Ziyao.

Topping the list were DORN and THI-O, both Thai idols who were clearly built for the stage.
DORN, especially, had that main character energy from day one, with dance skills that had even the mentors doing double takes.
Hu Yetao made a bit of a comeback story out of it. Remember him from Chuang 2021?
Yeah, the androgynous vibe icon.
This time, he came back with confidence dialled up to a hundred, and it paid off. Fans were hyped to finally see him debut after years of watching him almost get there.
It’s wild to think this is already the sixth season of the Chuang franchise.

Since China banned idol survival shows, Chuang has found a new rhythm in Thailand, which has become its second home.
And to give it that emotional throwback, the finale even featured a tribute stage with banger medleys from previous Tencent survival show themes.
That stage alone brought back memories—with surprise appearances from Rocket Girls 101’s Meng Meiqi, R1SE’s Ren Hao, BonBon Girls 303’s Zhao Yue, INTO1’s Mika, and Gen1es’ Qiao Yiyu.
NexT1DE’s debut might not have come with fireworks like seasons past, but it still hit home for loyal fans.
Each member has their own charm, and there's something kind of comforting about seeing fresh faces join a legacy like Chuang’s.
Now all eyes are on what NexT1DE’s first move will be post-debut. Music release? Fan meeting tour? Whatever it is, it’s safe to say the fandom’s ready.
