Former SKE48 member Arai Yuki is ready to turn heads with her debut photobook, Muteki no Sugao『無敵の素顔』, set for release on 23 May 2025 by KADOKAWA.
This marks a new milestone for Arai, who has been exploring life beyond her idol career.
The photobook was shot in Bali, Indonesia—a first-time destination for Arai Yuki.
The team captured her in a luxurious beachfront resort and a private villa with a pool, creating a mix of elegance and relaxation.
Interestingly, SKE48’s Kamata Natsuki also had her photobook shoot at the same location with the same publisher, sparking speculation about a possible collaboration.
For the cover, Arai selected a striking image of herself in sporty grey lingerie, her gaze exuding confidence.
The photobook showcases a mix of bold and playful looks, featuring red lace lingerie in a tropical rainforest, a chic black garter outfit, a soft pink tulle top, and even a backshot in a figure-hugging swimsuit.
She also takes on daring concepts, including her first-ever T-back and tasteful topless poses.

Arai shared her excitement, saying, “This book is a collection of both familiar and brand-new sides of me. At 26, I discovered a different version of myself, and I feel truly happy. I hope everyone can see the charm of Arai Yuki beyond my idol days.”
The title Muteki no Sugao (Invincible Face) was chosen by Arai herself, reflecting her raw and unfiltered presence.
Alongside the visuals, the book includes an essay where she shares her thoughts after graduating from SKE48, plus an in-depth interview.
Fans can choose from three cover editions—standard, Seven Net Shopping exclusive, and HMV&BOOKS online exclusive—each with special bonus photos.
The digital edition will also feature downloadable extra content.
To celebrate the release, Arai will hold a reservation event on 18 May at Hoshino Shoten Kintetsu Passe and a handover event on 8 June.
Another handover event will take place on 21 June at HMV&BOOKS SHIBUYA.
Additionally, panel exhibitions at Hoshino Shoten Kintetsu Passe and TSUTAYA EBISUBASHI will start on the release date, with a special signed panel giveaway campaign.
With Muteki no Sugao, Arai Yuki is stepping into a new era of her career, inviting fans to see her in a whole new light.
