Chinese drama Fated Hearts is already making waves with its action-packed teaser and an intriguing plot twist. The drama stars Li Qin as the fierce and formidable heroine Fu Yi Xiao, a red-clad archer with some serious battle skills, and Chen Zheyuan as Feng Sui Ge, the eldest prince of the Su Sha kingdom – who, let’s just say, quickly learns not to mess with her.
The teaser, just dropped recently, gives us a glimpse into the intense face-off between Fu Yi Xiao and Feng Sui Ge.
Picture this: an expertly shot arrow, a dangerous clash, and a bit of swordplay – Fu Yi Xiao is the kind of heroine you’d want fighting alongside you, especially when her aim’s as sharp as her wit.
But things take a wild turn when Fu Yi Xiao takes a nasty fall off a cliff, resulting in a complete memory loss.
Enter Feng Sui Ge, who’s not only got his own problems (hello, being hunted) but now finds himself involved with a woman who’s forgotten everything about their explosive past encounter.
Realising something’s off, he decides to bring her in and keep her close, hoping it will lead them to the mastermind behind the ongoing turmoil between their two kingdoms.
What follows is a thrilling journey of trust, betrayal, and conspiracy as the unlikely duo work together to uncover the traitor in their midst – and possibly unravel more than they bargained for.
The drama is based on the novel A Smile- (lit.) by Chi Yi Qian Yu and is bound to keep viewers hooked with its mix of action, romance, and intrigue.
In addition to Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan, Fated Hearts also boasts a strong supporting cast including Xia Meng, Chen Heyi, Zuo Ye, and Qin Tianyu, with special appearances by Zhang Zhaohui, Zhao Bin, Lu Xingyu, and Xin Kaili.
