HOMEROOM 29, Mew Suppasit Unleashes His Darkest Role Yet

Classroom Chaos: Mew Suppasit Takes Hostages

It’s not every day you see the sweet, nerdy type snap—and Mew Suppasit just did that in full dramatic fashion.

In a bold move far from his usual roles, Mew transforms into Mr. Win, a teacher who’s been bullied one time too many in HOMEROOM 29: The Hostage, now streaming exclusively on TrueID.

The suspense series, created by TrueID and Juvenile Co., kicks off with absolute chaos.

No slow burn here—within minutes, Mew’s character loses it, traps 29 students inside the classroom, and demands answers. Why? Someone’s dead. And it’s one of their own.

The victim?

Renita, played by the brilliant Jane-Kulchiranat Warraksa. And everyone’s a suspect.

What follows is a twisted maze of lies, regrets, and secrets—each student hiding something.

Among the stellar cast are familiar faces like Jennis Oprasert, Music-Praewa Sutampong, PJ-Mahidol, and Peak-Pheemphol, to name a few.

Each brings raw energy to the screen, making it hard to trust anyone.

This isn’t just another teen drama with angsty love triangles and shallow character arcs.

It’s deep, gripping, and hits on real issues like bullying and the damage it causes.

Mew’s Mr. Win has been pushed to the edge, and now, he’s not playing nice anymore.

Every question he throws at the students unearths more than just teenage drama—it uncovers their darkest truths.

And the punishment? Life or death. Answer wrong, and someone might not make it out alive.

Mew Suppasit shared how tough this role has been—mentally and physically.

“Mr. Win starts off like a harmless nerdy teacher. But then—boom—explosions, hostage situation, and you wonder what drove him to this point,” Mew explained.

“This is by far the most complex character I’ve ever played.”

He dove deep into the Japanese original series for reference, trying to match each Thai student to their counterpart.

He also trained hard in stunt work, spending six hours on a single action scene that lasted only two minutes on screen.

And it’s worth it. Mew shines in this unpredictable role, bringing intensity, heart, and just enough madness to keep us hooked.

The series is co-directed by two heavyweights—Khomo-Kongkiat Khomsiri and Kao-Wirada Kuawan

Their fingerprints are all over the sleek, blood-rushing tension of the show.

Expect twisted plot turns, emotional gut-punches, and plenty of “what just happened?” moments.

Part 1 drops five episodes in one go, and it's an intense ride from start to finish. Part 2, with eleven more episodes, is dropping on 18 April, and trust us—you’ll want to clear your schedule.

So yeah, get comfy, but don’t get too relaxed. HOMEROOM 29: The Hostage doesn’t just tell a story. It traps you inside it.
