The beloved Kansai Junior group Lil Kansai has officially disbanded as of April 1, 2025.
STARTO ENTERTAINMENT released a statement confirming that all five members will now pursue solo careers after six years together.
Formed on January 22, 2019, Lil Kansai consisted of Toa Shimazaki (21), Kotaro Okazaki (21), Takuya Nishimura (21), Fuga Onishi (21), and Ruku Touma (20).
They quickly became one of the top names in the Kansai Junior scene, alongside Naniwa Danshi and Ae! group.
A heartfelt message from the remaining four members was posted on the fan club site, where they explained the difficult decision.
They highlighted their love for the group’s five-member dynamic and thanked fans for their unwavering support over the years.
They also asked for continued encouragement as they embark on their individual paths.
This decision follows Ruku Touma’s departure from STARTO ENTERTAINMENT at the end of March 2025, alongside other Kansai Junior members.
His exit marked a significant turning point for the group, leading to internal discussions about the future.
With the disbandment now official, each member is set to explore new career opportunities, though their specific paths remain unknown. Fans are encouraged to support them in their next chapters, as their journey as Lil Kansai comes to a close.
