Apparently, there’s a radio station in Korea that’s going all out for nugu fans! They’re throwing a party called “NUGUCHELLA”, dedicated entirely to underrated K-pop artists.
The event is happening at MGG Seoul on April 11th, from 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM KST.
And if you can’t make it in person, don’t worry—it’s getting livestreamed on their Instagram! (@nugu.radio)
The event is run by a group of K-pop DJs in Itaewon, who’ve already been promoting nugu artists through their radio show, NUGU RADIO.
They even have a fun game where fans judge songs as “Fake Nugu,” “True Nugu,” or “Nugu Graduation.”

Fans are loving the concept, with some saying it should be even bigger and that the headliner every year should be an artist graduating from nugudom.
Others joked about how some groups are so nugu, they might not even make it to NUGUCHELLA’s lineup.
One fan pointed out that Billlie’s Moonsua and Siyoon are debuting their subunit on April 7th—so could they be on the lineup?
For those unfamiliar, “nugu” (누구) means “who” in Korean and is used in K-pop to refer to artists who are lesser-known.
Now, they’re finally getting their own festival—so maybe it’s time to start stanning a new group before they blow up!
