Sad news for J-Pop fans—idol group Shirayuri to Ame is officially calling it quits after their first anniversary performance on 19 May 2025.
The announcement came through an official statement from Circle Lychee, the group’s parent label.
Formed just a year ago on 11 April 2024, Shirayuri to Ame (白百合と雨), which translates to Lilies and Rain, captured fans with their edgy yet melancholic style.
But after a whirlwind of digital singles, packed shows, and one graduation, the group has decided to part ways.
All six remaining members—Uyuki Yuu, Yumeno Mia, Dokuga Eru, Kanata Nemu, Shimazui Aya, and Amanai Shion—will perform one final live show titled 『百合』 (Yuri) at Shibuya Ongakudou on their anniversary night.
It’s a full-circle moment, but also a heartbreaking one for fans who’ve followed their short but emotional journey.
Shirayuri to Ame made their debut splash with Otete Knife Life on 21 April 2024, followed by an impressive run of 11 digital singles, including fan favourites like FAKEY GIRL, Eikyuu Kousoku Poison Love, and Seishun wa Makka Cutter.
Their vibe?
A little twisted, a little tender—perfectly fitting the image of "white lilies in the rain".
The group did lose one member along the way—Kaguya Saki, the original "red" member, bowed out on 17 February 2025.
Her departure hinted at changes behind the scenes, but fans didn’t expect a full disbandment so soon.
According to the official statement date April 2025, the decision came after discussions between management and the members.
Though it’s not clear what led to the choice, the message thanked fans deeply for their support and asked everyone to cheer them on till the very end.
The final one-man live show on Monday, 19 May promises to be emotional.
Tickets start at ¥2,000 for general entry, with premium spots priced at ¥5,000.
Doors open at 19:00, and the curtain rises at 19:30.
Fans can still grab tickets via t-dv.com/250519s, with lottery reservations closing on 15 April and general sale starting 16 April.
While their journey might be ending, Shirayuri to Ame’s brief presence left an undeniable mark on the alt-idol scene.
From bold lyrics to theatrical performances, they made sure their petals didn’t go unnoticed.
